The Los Angeles chapter of Graduate Women in Science was established on August 16th, 2016. As a local chapter of GWIS, our goal is to build a supportive community for women who are pursuing graduate education or post-graduate careers in STEM disciplines in the Los Angeles area. We not only find opportunities and resources to promote the success of our members, but also to give back to our community by providing service and mentorship.
